Lang- Your teacher is a supreme human being for letting you sit with them. As for the ‘friends’ who fade away—I bet they didn’t know that remorse is more corrosive than inaction. Hope you had a lovely time in Spain? Any good discoveries as far as places in Spain to visit? Happy summer, Lang!

Thank you, Thalia! She is pretty great! :) We had a lovely time in Spain, with a day in Gibraltar (which I highly recommend. It has a ton of history and incredible views! We could see Spain "next door" and Africa across the way). I'd also highly recommend Seville, Valencia, and Cartagena. They each have loads of beauty and history. Happy summer, Thalia!

Oh! I haven’t been to Gibraltar but had been to Seville (and loved it). Was it a cruise or did you book everything yourself? 🙏

Nice! It was a cruise (Azamara). Which we love for a variety of reasons: (1) You get to see a variety of places (2) All the transportation, food, etc is taken care of (3) You can just book an excursion to get an excellent tour/experience of the places you stop at.

I’ve yet to hear of Azmara. I know different cruise lines have different specialties. I love the quieter ones but those tend to restrict children which we can’t get rid of (yet) 😅. What’s Azmara’s specialty?

We only know about it because, last year, we took a trip with a wine club we're part of on Azamara (the club manager is a travel agent). :) They focus on the destinations/ports, typically getting there first thing in the morning (or earlier) and not leaving until dinner time or later, so that you get the whole day to explore the city/area. Each place has multiple excursions to choose from, if one wants to go that way. They're smaller ships, ~700 passengers, so get into places bigger ships can't. There are some onboard activities, which are pretty fun, but that's not the focus. They definitely allow kids. You also get more for the base price than most other cruise lines--some adult beverages, room service for breakfast, and such. Being smaller also means you don't have to wait in lines as much as the bigger ships. .Everything is faster and more "intimate".

I've had these experiences at work. As a nurse it's called,"Eating their young."

I found that I would tolerate the behavior to a point. I would pray on it. I would then draw an imaginary line in the imaginary sand. Then, one toe over the line the Lord would give me the words and courage I needed to given them an attitude adjustment. It solved the problem every time.
