Thank you for sharing, Dr. Lang— oops, there I go again. Lang. Theres been so many transitions this year with my father’s death and hospitalizations of two other members of my family.I’ve been leaning on this practice of moving with the flow of life rather than resisting. It’s not easy but I am learning to recognize in myself when resistance shows up. I say to myself, “ so, here we are,” as a way of acknowledging what is. It seems to help.
Much appreciated, Stella. 🙏🏽 And thank you for sharing some of your sorrows with me. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad, hospitalizations, and what that stirs up in you. 😢 And, what a beautiful path of moving with the flow you are choosing! 🫶🏽 I so hear you on it not being easy, as society teaches us otherwise--but, as I hear in your words, it's well worth it. I love the gentle mantra/reminder you give yourself. "So, here we are." That's powerful! Thank you. 💙
Loved reading this 💗 dancing with the journey is a practice I work on everyday. To accept things as they are isn’t always easy, but it also allows my mind to just “be”, especially when circumstances are challenging. Like you, I feel a deep connection to this time of year 🍂 thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Jen! 🥰 I like how you put that: Accepting things as they are, "allows my mind to just 'be'". That's where the calm in the storms of life resides. 🫶🏽 Thank you!
